“Creative is not just what I do, it is what I am.”

Being “Creative” is not something you are taught, but rather it is an all-encompassing way of life that comes from inside you, starting in your elementary years. While other kids were playing sports, watching TV, studying or just hanging with friends, Lori was always creating. She was the one painting her walls, writing poems and songs and making artwork out of every popsicle stick, cotton ball, heap of glitter and stick of glue she could find. It was during her first college class in advertising that Lori realized what a natural she was at the creative side of advertising. By the end of her class, Lori was signing papers for Broward Community College to own the rights to her semester project, a complete print, radio and TV campaign, to use as a sample for future classes for years to come. Four years later, Lori graduated from Florida State University with a degree in marketing and advertising and took the first steps toward becoming a Creative Director.

Starting in 1998 as a print copywriter, Lori spent 9 years climbing to the top and is now the Creative Director of Omni Advertising, an $80 million dollar advertising agency. Developing creative that captivates and moves an audience is only one of the aspects of Lori’s daily repertoire. Casting, directing, producing, managing and motivating are all in a day’s work for Lori. Heading a team of creative writers, she molds thoughts, sharpens ideas and creates the buzz to excite a large range of clients. Lori is constantly working towards tomorrow’s ideas, looks and sounds to keep clients happy and make potential clients salivate about getting their hands on Omni’s Creative.

While incalculably proud of her achievements, Lori is never satisfied. Developing the next catch phrase, jingle or award winning piece of creative keeps Lori hungry and passionate for continually evolving in her role as Creative Director.
