The Creative Process
The first step in our creative process is to identify the opportunities for the product or service we are promoting. This is achieved by reviewing client data, researching the product/service and its industry, familiarizing ourselves with the competition, understanding the psychographics of the target demo and brainstorming with our account service teams. We consider product/brand awareness and our client’s USP (unique selling proposition) and make a decision to either realign or reaffirm their market positioning. It is also at this stage that we deliberate with our media team to determine innovative ways in which our client’s message can be delivered.
The next step is when the actual creative concepts are born. We work in teams to form a relevant, powerful “Big Idea” that will provide continual nurturing of the brand. For every product or service, it is our job to create a memorable message that will resonate with our audience, compelling them to take action. This is accomplished through the use of humor, sincerity, imagination, urgency or perceived value (or a combination of these elements).
Once our ideas are drafted, we conduct focus group studies to get a true representation of how our creative strategy is received by the target consumer. With positive feedback from our research and the client, we bring our storyboards and concepts to life at our in-house production facility.
